Simon Miraka is the President of the Anti-Communist Association of the Former Politically Persecuted. In 1945, when he was just a few weeks old, his family was internally exiled in Berat, and later, in Savër and Gjazë, two villages in Lushnje District. In total, he spent years living in exile. If one were to add up all of the years of imprisonment and exile endured by his family and his relatives, the results would be 945 years.
